I’m an elopement and wedding photographer based out of the mountains of western North Carolina (Asheville to be exact), but my favorite place to call home is on the road in my newly purchased camper (it’s to die for by the way). I’ve traveled all over this amazing country and beyond and my bucket list of travel locations is ever-growing.
I’m a big believer that life is an adventure and it's meant to be lived your way, which is why I love helping couples in love plan their wedding day around what feels natural to them. Craving a wedding dress that’s not white? Wanna pair your favorite hiking boots with your dress instead of heels? Dreaming of a first-look under a waterfall? Or dancing under the stars with just your closest family and friends?
Every morning, before I even have my coffee, I pull out the latest notebook and write down everything I can think of. In fact, I’ve journaled nearly every day since sixth grade (and yes there are some chuckle-worthy entries over the last decade)
When I’m traveling, these pages look a lot like scribbled notes of favorite restaurants, hiking trails, and taped in Polaroids of my adventures along the way. And while I don’t gush about boys in these journals anymore, they’ve become a pivotal piece of me and my story. And I’m pretty sure they are what prompted me to start photographing couples in love.
See life is amazing, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to forget a dang thing. So whether I’m recording my whole life in these scrappy notebooks or capturing every second of your wedding day, you can be sure I’m gonna tell your story… exactly as it happened.
